Historic Office Renovation

The Chrysler House, formerly the Dime Building, is one of Detroit’s oldest skyscrapers and was in need of major updating after having a low occupancy rate for many years. Sachse Construction performed façade restoration to modernize the elevator system in the building and renovate and build-out various floors for several tenants.

Sachse completely gutted the basement - a former bank vault - of old mechanical equipment and created a new office environment that features the historic bank safe. Following the core and shell work, Sachse Construction built out the basement space for interior design firm Pophouse’s offices.
