Sachse Construction has completed 10 projects to date for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. that include complete new store buildouts as well as smaller tenant improvement renovations specific to particular store features such as casework. The projects range in size from buildouts for 5,000 square foot retail spaces to 18,000 square foot stores. Locations include Alpharetta, GA, Lexington, KY, Minnetonka, MN, Virginia Beach, VA, Westport, CT, San Juan, PR, and St. Louis, MO.

On a recent project at The Summit at Fritz Farm in Lexington, KY, Sachse Construction led a value engineering effort to find cost savings for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. The scope of work for the project that was adjusted included:

• Gas piping run overhead in lieu of in concrete slab
• Change glass for storefront and glass throughout the store to a different model that achieves a similar look
• Ceiling remained natural and unpainted

Sachse Construction works with Williams-Sonoma, Inc. on each store to come up with specific solutions for each unique location. Given the variation in layout and size of the stores, adjustments are needed for each project.
