Escape room company The Escape Game has partnered with Detroit-based Sachse Construction to build out the core and shell of two new first-to-market locations in New York and King of Prussia, Pa.
The two locations, ranging from 4,962 sq. ft. to 5,470 sq. ft., will feature five different storylines including Special Ops: Mysterious Market, Gold Rush, Prison Break, Playground and Heist. Sachse Construction is the construction manager on both projects totaling more than $4.5 million. The build-outs require high-tech equipment and miles of wiring and cabling so that each game is interactive and responsive throughout the 60-minute adventure.
“The Escape Game experience includes top-notch designs, going above and beyond your average storylines by replicating movie sets and theater productions with state-of-the-art technology, interactive puzzles, and secret passageways,” says Todd Sachse, founder and CEO of Sachse Construction. “Bolsted by their incredibly unique build-outs, The Escape Game is setting the bar for experiential retail in new markets. We are proud to be their construction partner as we continue to support their multi-location expansion as part of our national portfolio of projects.”
