Andrea Isom | ABC 7, WXYZ Detroit

(WXYZ) — A company in Detroit is dedicated to giving young people an opportunity to build a foundation for their futures.

The Sachse Construction Academy is offered to hundreds of high school students in the city. The academy’s day-long course helps students gain skills to build their communities.

Dozens of trade partners, trade schools and unions show up and set up shop.
