Steve Berlage
President & COO

Steve Berlage joined Sachse Construction as President & COO in 2013 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s construction, preconstruction, estimating, finance, and accounting departments. Steve’s career has spanned over 40 years across three markets: Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit. His leadership has produced a proven track record of growing a profitable business and expanding into new markets.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1982 and is a strong supporter of the Michigan Wolverines on game days. He grew up in Charlevoix, MI and ventures back to his hometown to visit as often as he can.

FUN FACT:
Steve was a two-time Punt, Pass, and Kick Contest Champion at nine and 10 years old.
