As Vice President, Director of Preconstruction, Jay McKee oversees the preconstruction services of Sachse Construction’s commercial group through lump sum bids, conceptual estimating, budgeting, procurement, constructability, and business development. Additionally, Jay develops and maintains relationships with the local trade partner community to enhance Sachse Construction’s customer service experience.

With over 25 years of construction experience, Jay specializes in the commercial, data center, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing markets. Jay gained his diverse experience from advancing through field assignments to management positions including business development and operations. He has worked with clients such as Bedrock Detroit, WeWork, Honigman LLP, Amerisure Insurance Company, General Motors, Disney, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Restoration Hardware, The Platform, Fresenius Medical Care, and Henry Ford Health System.

Jay currently resides in Oakland County with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, and participating in Boy Scouts of America activities.
