Sachse Construction Partners With Visionary Detroit-Based Women Artists to Create One-Of-A-Kind Pieces for Charity

Sachse Construction proudly announces its collaboration with talented local artists Olivia Guterson, Nicole Jarecz, and India Solomon in a unique initiative titled Hard Hats for Detroit. This fundraising auction aims to empower women and girls through art while highlighting the strength and resilience represented by hard hats as symbols of building and construction.

Understanding that community extends beyond brick and mortar, Sachse Construction is committed to uplifting local nonprofit organizations focused on women’s empowerment. Each artist has designed a unique hard hat, reflecting their vision of the collective strength of women supporting women.

The online auction will feature these one-of-a-kind pieces, allowing bidders to select the artist’s work they wish to support. Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit three organizations: the Empowerment Plan, Alternatives for Girls, and BasBlue.

“Our team has a long-standing commitment to giving back to the Detroit community,” said Todd Sachse, CEO of Sachse Construction. “This initiative is a powerful testament to the impact of art in transforming lives. By partnering with these visionary artists, we’re not only celebrating creativity but also igniting change for women and girls who need it most.”

The hard hats will be displayed at Sachse Construction’s headquarters in downtown Detroit. The online auction begins on November 19, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and will close on Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
