Sachse Construction partnered with Whisker, the maker of the Litter-Robot, to renovate its Auburn Hills headquarters. Housed in a former 1980s-era IBM data center, the project involved updating the aging facility to support Whisker’s growing operations. 

Work was completed in an occupied building, requiring close coordination with the client to schedule shutdowns and minimize disruptions—often working near employees and their office pets. Crews navigated unique structural challenges, including building new walls through elevated data floors and up to the roof deck. 

Despite these complexities, Sachse delivered a modern, functional space aligned with Whisker’s brand and operational goals.
