Sachse Construction partnered with Roxbury Group to complete Topa, a rooftop restaurant and lounge addition atop the AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle in Detroit’s Brush Park neighborhood. Built on an accelerated schedule, the project required extensive coordination to complete construction while the hotel remained fully occupied and operational.

Working within an active hospitality environment, the team carefully managed material deliveries, trade coordination, and daily construction activities to minimize disruptions to guests and hotel staff. The rooftop addition introduced new dining and gathering space while integrating design elements that connect the project to the character of the surrounding community, including reclaimed wood salvaged from the historic Cadillac House in Lexington featured throughout portions of the interior.

The completed rooftop venue expands the hospitality experience at the AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle while adding a new destination overlooking downtown Detroit.
