The Zekelman Holocaust Center
Sachse Construction, in collaboration with Neumann/Smith Architecture and the Zekelman Holocaust Center, completed an occupied renovation of the museum’s Holocaust gallery, reimagining the space as a modern, impactful exhibit environment. The project demanded a highly sensitive approach to respect the gallery’s sacred purpose and the Center’s mission of remembrance and education. The revitalized space thoughtfully preserves the solemnity and historical significance of the subject matter while introducing a state-of-the-art setting that supports immersive storytelling and meaningful visitor engagement.
