Sachse Construction managed the interior tenant fit-out of the Las Vegas-based chain Sugar Factory’s new location in Downtown Detroit. The 7,928 SF Detroit location features restaurant seating for 233, an outdoor patio, a retail candy store, and plenty of places for an inspired selfie.

The project included modernizing the MEP systems, wall and gypsum ceiling framing, exterior upgrades, removal of the curtain wall system, and installation of a folding door at the trellis. Imperative to the project’s look, the team monitored the successful installation of the complex Millwork Package (Bar, Booths, Retail Cabinets, and Candy Dispensers).

The restaurant opened in the spring of 2022.
