Sachse Construction served as the general contractor for the highly anticipated ground-up construction of the 67,000-square-foot RH Detroit – The Gallery in Birmingham, built on a tight urban site in downtown Birmingham, Michigan. The project required the removal of two existing buildings, followed by the construction of one level of below-grade parking, three levels of high-end furniture showroom space, and a luxury rooftop restaurant and terrace.

The scope also included extensive landscape and streetscape improvements that seamlessly integrated the new Gallery into Birmingham’s pedestrian-focused downtown. Delivering a building of this scale and complexity in a dense urban environment required robust coordination, detailed planning, and precision execution from start to finish.
