For more than 15 years, Sachse Construction has been a trusted partner for numerous projects at One Campus Martius (OCM), formerly the Compuware Building.
In 2010, Rocket Mortgage (formerly Quicken Loans) relocated its world headquarters to One Campus Martius. The project’s first phase consisted of the demolition and buildout of more than 250,000 square feet across four floors. Following the initial work, Sachse Construction also built mothers’ rooms on the eighth, ninth, and twelfth floors for Rocket Mortgage and completed Bedrock Detroit’s executive suite on the tenth floor, which featured high-end finishes, private offices, and conference rooms.
Over time, the team delivered projects for multiple clients within the building, including Rocket Mortgage Headquarters, Meridian Health Plan Headquarters, Bedrock’s Executive Suite, Rock Ventures, StockX, and the OCM Wellness Center. Altogether, Sachse Construction worked on 11 floors, each totaling approximately 62,500 square feet.
In addition to building out expansive office floor plates, Sachse Construction began converting the former Hard Rock Cafe space at the end of 2021 to create a new location for Sugar Factory.
