Sachse Construction completed a series of tenant improvements for the DBG Detroit, a Detroit-based nonprofit that blends academic support with the discipline and excitement of boxing for local youth. The project enhanced both the gym’s training areas and its educational spaces to better support the organization’s growing programming.

The scope of work included installing a new HVAC system to introduce air conditioning, adding structural supports for heavy boxing bags, refreshing classroom spaces with new paint and carpeting, and upgrading the main gym to accommodate new training equipment and improved functionality.

In partnership with DBG, this project was also supported through Sachse Construction’s 2018 and 2019 Play It Foreward golf outing fundraising efforts—further strengthening our shared commitment to Detroit youth.
