Sachse Construction managed the façade renovation of the Ann V. Nicholson Apartments at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The project encompassed exterior improvements to six multifamily buildings and one clubhouse.
The scope of work included new exterior siding, façade flashing, masonry tuckpointing, painting, updated entryways, and full roof replacements on each building.
The project’s primary challenges were the size of the site and the need to complete construction while the buildings remained occupied.
To address these complexities, the Sachse Construction team coordinated daily with OU and trade partners to communicate work locations and progress. The team also organized equipment and materials strategically throughout the site to minimize disruption to residents and ensure safe, efficient movement around the property.
