Grab a Glass in Boston Logan
Airport Restaurant Buildout
Sachse Construction completed the renovation and buildout of Vino Volo in Boston Logan International Airport. The space had a number of challenges common to working in an airport environment including security and trade partner site access. To mitigate these challenges, Sachse Construction utilized trade partners that were certified to work at or had previously completed work at the airport. The project management team was in continual communication with airport security teams, which helped maintain a strong relationship as well as timely deliveries of materials. Vino Volo’s space had no running water or plumbing. Sachse Construction first performed a complete demolition of the existing space, including core drilling to bring in plumbing from underneath.
A unique aspect of this project was that this particular Vino Volo store was a prototype design. The Sachse Construction team work closely with all entities of management to ensure the store was completed to Vino Volo’s standards and matched the new design perfectly.
