NEW LOCATION OPENS IN DOWNTOWN DETROIT

SUGAR FACTORY EXPANDS TO THE MIDWEST

Sachse Construction was hired to manage the Las Vegas-based chain Sugar Factory’s new location in Downtown Detroit. The 7,928 sf Detroit location features restaurant seating for 233, an outdoor patio, a retail candy store, and plenty of places for an inspired selfie.

The project included modernization of the MEP systems as well as wall and gypsum ceiling framing, exterior upgrades, removal of the curtain wall system and installation of folding door at trellis. Imperative to the project’s look, the team monitored the successful installation of the complex Millwork Package (Bar, Booths, Retail Cabinets, and Candy Dispensers).

Sugar Factory opened in the summer of 2023 in Campus Martius.
