Façade Improvements

Higher Education Apartment Community

Sachse Construction managed the facade renovation of the Ann V. Nicholson Apartments at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI. The project encompassed façade improvements to six multifamily buildings and one clubhouse.

The scope of work included exterior siding, flashing for building façades, masonry tuckpointing, painting, and entryways. Additionally, each building received a new roof.

The project’s most significant challenges were the site size and that the buildings were still in use during construction.

The Sachse Construction team led a daily coordination effort with Oakland University and trade partners to communicate where work was taking place. Additionally, the team organized equipment and materials on-site to ensure the work impacted building occupants as minimally as possible.
