TIGHT TURNAROUND
TEMPORARY STOREFRONT CONSTRUCTION
When Louis Vuitton sought to update a dreary space into a temporary store, they entrusted Sachse Construction to complete the project on time and to the highest standard.
The team set to work on renovating the interior of the 7,000-square-foot temporary store at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park, California.
The work began with partial demolition of the interior. The team patched and reused the remaining existing walls to remain on schedule.
To ensure the temporary space had a uniform look and feel to all other Louis Vuitton locations, the team installed SEG walls. These are custom stretched fabric wall panels that bring a bold pop of color and that signature Louis Vuitton look to each of their spaces.
Due to the tight timeline, the team utilized much of the existing finishes and furniture, installing carpet over the existing wood floor and maximizing the existing store layout to avoid time-consuming and costly floor plan adjustments.
Four weeks later, the temporary space was unveiled to the public. The client was pleased to return to normal operations and get back to work in such a short amount of time.
