REUSING $15,000 OF CPT FOR CLIENT SAVINGS
CLASS A OFFICE SPACE IMPROVEMENTS
Sachse Construction was tasked with upgrading 1,700 square feet of KPMG’s Class A office space in downtown Detroit, MI. The scope of work for the KPMG office renovation project included tenant improvements, partial demolition, and the buildout of a new kitchen and lounge space.
Due to the project’s location in a downtown office tower, the Sachse Construction team had to carefully coordinate logistics to ensure they could access the space without delay when necessary. The team also coordinated reuse of existing CPT for the new space, saving the client $15,000. Additional dollars were saved by using large-format tile on feature walls in lieu of Quartz. Satisfied with the Sachse Construction team’s work and innovation, KPMG later added banquet and conference rooms to the scope.
Before wrapping up the KPMG office renovation project, Sachse Construction ensured the finishes were tied into existing ones for seamless functionality. After three months of construction, the team delivered an upgraded space suited to the client’s needs and wants.
