Historic Office Buildout
Constructing for the Modern Office
International Bancard relocated its headquarters from the suburbs to downtown Detroit so they could be a part of the exciting movement happening in the city. They hired Sachse Construction to lead an office buildout of the seventh and eighth floors, totaling 12,000 square feet, at 1505 Woodward Ave. The new International Bancard headquarters offers team members a unique and collaborative space that promotes productivity.
A custom light fixture package was accented by a local artist-designed pipe support system. The pipes not only provided a decorative element, but they also served as a functional conduit for the light fixture wiring. Prior to installation, the pipe system required city approval to ensure code compliance.
Since Sachse Construction has experience working with the City of Detroit on numerous projects, we were able to develop a process to approve multiple sections of the light fixtures to expedite the approval time. Our process was accepted by the city, which allowed the project to remain on schedule.
Sachse Construction exceeded customer expectations, and International Bancard is currently enjoying their new space in downtown Detroit.
