Sachse Construction completed tenant improvements for the Downtown Boxing Gym (DBG) a non-profit, after school program that blends the fun and discipline of boxing with extra learning programs for Detroit youth. The project included:
- Renovation HVAC system to install air conditioning
- Installation of structural elements to hold boxing bags
- Improvements to classroom spaces including new paint and carpeting
- Tenant improvements to main gym space to help accommodate new equipment.
Working in partnership with the DBG, the project was also a recipient of Sachse Construction’s 2018 and 2019 Play It Foreward golf outing fundraising efforts.
